As soon as I started to ride it, I felt a good boost of energy from the motor.
Other bikes can peter out on a sustained hill, but this bike handled the challenge without any trouble.

Calling out all E Bike shoppers
See how the L20.20
goes faster and further per charge,
And see how it’s superior design gives you more stability,
better handling and also keeps you safe, and see how the L20.20 does it all at a below market price
“Pound for pound”
the Engwe gives you some great performance
and some very nice features for your hard-earned cash”
As soon as I started riding it, I felt a good boost of energy from the motor.
I live in a mountainous, hilly area, and had no trouble riding the bike, throttle
-only, up a steep grade in the hills around my home. Other bikes can peter out on a
sustained hill, but this bike handled the challenge without much trouble.
But one rather unfamiliar design choice is the use of
a 52V battery instead of a 48V battery.
Putting my engineer hat on here for a second, I can tell you that it basically means
a roughly 7-8% increase in power, assuming the same controller current.
That allows the bike to run higher power without needing to pull more amperage and
thus create more heat or further stress the controller.

Let’s get too specifics. How fast is the L20 2.0?
1125 watts peak of built-in power to conquer all terrain.
Explosively powerful Nm motor.
Puts out a cool 28mph.
Let’s get real,
Front fork and post suspension cannot be included…
There’s no way you’re going to get a top speed of 28mph and then also
expect front fork and post suspension for a bike that sells for under
$800.
Impossible you say?
Well, it just got real. With the L20 2.0, you get 28mph speed, the
$800 low cost, and yes, on top of that, an adjustable front suspension fork
is included.
The Engwe can also reach surprising speeds; in theory, the pedal-assist can accelerate to 45 kmh.
In fact, it is so fast that sales have allegedly been banned in several European countries.
As quoted from, Momentum Mag,
And the Adjustable front fork suspension
allows you to take on any terrain whether it’s:
Sand snow gravel
A softer compression setting allows the fork to compress
more easily, providing better traction and control over obstacles.
For fast descents, set the suspension at firmer for better stability
and control at high speeds.
Why is the L20 2.0
the Ultimate in handling and Stability?
When combined with a specific frame design, the high-strength
shock absorbing and the 20 x 3.0 fat tires
with granular pattern grip, enables the L20 2.0 to absorb more
pressure than the average e-bike, giving you a smoother, safer ride.
And the anti-skid the 180mm armored disc brake are more
sensitive and will give you more immediate and precise braking and will
improve control even on wet, slippery surfaces.

Final Thoughts from a review
All in all, for the price, it’s an impressive package, the motor is fun and zippy, and the battery lasts long enough, even on hilly roads......... and the price is certainly right
What’s the verdict here?
In conclusion, the Engwe L20 2.0 stands out as a surprisingly good option in the entry-level e-bike market. Its affordability and decent performance make it a compelling
choice for those new to electric bicycles or those looking for a reliable and cost-effective commuting option. While it may not boast the high-end features of more expensive models,
it delivers where it counts: comfort, usability, and an enjoyable riding experience.
This bike proves that you don’t need to break the bank to enjoy the benefits of electric cycling.
